I grew up in the world of performing arts, surrounded by very creative people, one of them being my mum who used to make the sets and props for all our performances at dance college.
I went on to work as a professional dancer for 6 years in London, travelling here there and everywhere for shoots, live TV performances, and shows. With the job you are exposed to the glamorous (and not so glamorous at times) life where you are on set for several hours but get to watch the creative teams setting up ready for filming.
I have always been fascinated seeing the before and after on different projects and how satisfying it is to create something unique.
During my time in London performing, I took on another role in event management. Mainly at large sporting events, hosting VIP clients ensuring all guests were well looked after and having a great time. I was able to be a part of the set up at venues, running to strict timeframes, managing large groups of staff and ensuring the client is always happy!
